FETAC Level 5 Occupational First Aid

The Course
This course is FETAC level 5 approved on the National Framework of Qualifications.
Aim
To provide training to employees wishing to fulfill the role of Occupational First-Aider within the workplace as described by The HSA.
Our Trainers
Trainers are registered with the national ambulance school as required by the HSA.
Our trainers also hold the following qualifications:
Diploma & NQEMT (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland)
Certificate EMT (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council)
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course participants will be able to:
LO1: Deal with emergencies
LO2: Provide necessary first aid within the workplace
LO3: Understand and demonstrate essential life saving skills
LO4: Successful participants will be registered as First-Aiders
Target Trainee Profile
Those wishing to qualify as an occupational first-aider. Any person wishing to gain a more in-depth knowledge of First Aid.

Training Methods
Highly interactive course making good use of demonstration, involvement and practice.
Assessment & Certification
Delegates are assessed on their ability to meet the requirements set down in the learning outcomes.
Successful participants are awarded a FETAC level 5 certificate.
